2019 Journal

Investigation into Thermochromic paint.
During 2019 I was focusing heavily on art and science.
This page reflects my practice for the year. Involving more research rather than production.
Pink has become an important colour in my work. Reflecting the camp attitude I have towards my art.

2018 Journal

Investigation of collaboration.
This image was produced before the collaborative exhibition Intercalibration, with the artist Pete Byrne.
During this year I was finishing off my Honours at university.
The university lifestyle is one of collaboration. This piece reflects my nature of wanting to share art with others, and wanting to involve others in my work.

About

β€œThe cARTel Journals are about recording our present creative climate within Bendigo and surrounding communities, for the interest and pleasure of future generations as their local history - this is literally history in the making. 100 single pages per volume are handed out to creatives of all expressions and returned to us for binding. We use SB Libris. The Journals are bound in leather and donated to the Bendigo Library for archiving into the Local History section.”
