PROCESS AND PERFORMANCE: INVESTIGATING A GENERATIVE SYSTEM WITH MARK MAKING AND HEAT
The purpose of this research is to investigate the elements of a Generative System and to offer an insight into the history behind this way of working. I attempt to define the Organic Open Generative System of art I produce work in and the outcomes of this research, which have a strong focus toward Process Art and Performance Art.
Rejecting art boundaries, experimenting with technology, and using industry specific or domestic tools for purposes other than what they were made for, offers a partnership between art and industry, between the artist’s making and technology.
